I originally tried this in the networking forum and go zilch replies. Any input would be appreciated.
OK, here's the deal.
I want to host a dedicated server for one of my fave games. Wolfenstien enemy territory.
The machine i want to run it on is on my home network. It gets internet access through a server i have running Windows 2000 server edition. This server shares it's ADSL (not a static IP address) connection via the Routing and remote access service and i have DHCP and DNS running on it. This machine has zone alarm pro as it's firewall (i don't have a router)
So, i guess what i'm trying to say is. Does the game need to be running on the firewall server or will any possible user"see through" my firewall server onto the dedicated game server.
Did that make sense? Probably not.:)
