Call Of Duty Demo

Has anyone played this yet, if not i woudl have to tell you to grab the demo. I dunno what to make of this, its very similar to MOHAA yet different, think Vietcong in WWII. One thing it does have over MOHAA is the sense of utter confusion, at times in the Demo i just didnt have a clue what was goign on.

Anyways, if you havent already, dl it and give it a try, see what you think

Great game....awesome. If you haven't gotten the demo, you're in for a treat. Its got alot more action than MOH and it runs as smooth as Day of Defeat. Its got that smooth mouse feel that I've grown accustomed to in Halflife based games, but the graphics are incredible.

The sense of teamplay is very good as well in the single player mode that the demo makes available.

I am wholeheartedly looking forward to this game release, and I hadn't heard about it until yesterday.

17% done downloading it....if all goes well i'll have it in a half an hour

anybody else hate it when you go to download something like a game demo and they just send you to page after page of junk, and then you either have to "wait in line" to download it, or you get it going at like 4kb/s....really ticks me off! :)

Not too shaby. Just finished the mission. Too short of a demo. I will agree the feel is definately VERY smooth. Graphics are nicely done. It gives a larger scope/feeling with the parachutes coming down all over, etc.

Good game but very short. beat it on veteran 6 times last night cause my internet was down and couldn't play any other other games, lol:p

yeah It really looks promising, I am happy to see there is blood. Hopefully we will see a 'M' rating on this game, unlike the mOHAA games where I feel it loses a lot of realism and over all feel with out blood.

Looks really good, and your sqaud actually does somthing, most games its you and a bunch of AI partners that just follow you and do nothing.


I hope we get a MP demo also. :)

Ditto. There were no scoped rifles, which made me a little dismayed, but then again its just a demo. The constant birage of AA gun fire was pretty intense as you go from one gun to another. Pretty sweet stuff.

There is one, its identical to the German auto-scoped-rifle in RTCW, you have to pick it up from dead Germans but it is scarce

Hmm, I'll have to keep an eye out for it tonight. I picked up some German submachine gun, and another German rifle, but none with a scope. Well, good to know there is something else in the game I can discover. Can you pick up rifles from dead GIs as well? Never even bothered to check out the bodies of my fallen bretheren.
