Hi,
A friend of mine wants a cheap system so I've decided on an MSI KM133 mobo and a duron 800/900. Anyone know any issues regarding these integrated via video chipsets with Win9x/2000?. Thanks in advance.

YES... it is quite good in numbers but it has a sever memory to screen write problem ...
every mobo that I've seen to use this chipset had kind of short pauses in playback .. anything 3D on these systems is just frying your eyes (I know i'm generalising it might be dependant on the memory used in your system or other factors but I have yet to see a board wihout these problems)
the 3Dplayback or playability is totally nuttin' .. the only posetive is that it has an AGP slot so you can jam in an el-cheapo card and get like 5x higher performance without the stuttering ...
(hell my old PII 300 with 128 meg mem and an MX beats my dad's athlon 800 with 256 meg mem and this integrated video in every application and game...

You might want to take a look at www.viahardware.com (http://www.viahardware.com) and the forum therein. It appears problems with the Creative SB Live! series soundcards are common as are some other WIN2K issues...good luck!
