What do you use to maintain your mp3 lists?

I need a program to make an mp3 list (.txt) file of all the files and folders of .mp3 that I have. This is great for when I burn them on cd's so that I can search through the lists for the songs I need.

Here is an example of a program list I used to use (it was a great program, but it is now shareware and no longer works for me):

the winampplaylists (M3U) use a similar format . sou you just might make an mp3 playlist with winamp and then change the .m3u extension to .txt I hope you like the way it stores ... it might be not your taste ... then I dunno any other prg that can do this ...

(by the way .. winamp can also make a total list ofthe files .. this is not ordered by directory so it is not very usefull I think .. just mentioning ..

winamp can also generate an html playlist and would be easily converted to txt file.

Go to the root folder of your MP3's and from command prompt do:

dir /s > list.txt

Start from root of drive and gather all subdirs containng mp3's without the extra folder and drive info
dir/b/A:-D/s *.mp3>list.txt

Found a awesome program called MP3 lister. It can make a list of your MP3's and save it in a number of formats including excel. From there I made a access database. Very cool, and it's free!
