I just installed 3dMark2001 SE pro, and here is my score.

13821

I currently have an ATI All In Wonder 9800 Pro, Epox 8RDA+, 2500+ Oce'd to 2.26ghz 410FSB, 2x 256 Cruciall DDR400 sync with the CPU at 410. I had a stick of 51 but sold it to a client :D

This is the first time I ran the test.

...i would have expected more to be honest. Make sure your running everything in 'performance' under the D3D tab in the display control panel

Seems to be a common problem that, not had it myself and dunno how to fix it like, but even so it wont make a massive difference to your scores, if anythign it ay drop them slightly.

Put it this way im getting 16700 marks on:

8rda+
XP2400+ @ 2.33Ghz (173x13.5)
2x256MB PC2700 (173, 5-2-2-2.5)
128mb Radeon 9800np modded to 'pro'

Before that on the same rig i was getting over 12500+ with a 64mb Ti4200 overclocked to 280/600

You should be scoring more than me i would have said

Also, if you aint already, update to cat 3.6, they may boost your score a couple hundred marks

I set all my settings to low to benchmark.
I get about 16500 on my setup... no o/c

Make sure all programs are closed. Especially firewalls and internet connection keepers, disconnecting completely if you switch off the firewall. Turn off File indexing service. As BigJakk said, set all stuff to performance. FastWrites only gain about 100 marks, they cause instability on my system (9700 + P4G8X: Google search it :p )
Make sure it is all cooled properly,
BigJakk, 9800 Pro is a bit low too.
I still havent upgraded to Catalyst 3.6 yet :r still 3.2

I dont think the gap between 9800Pro and 9700Pro will be that major in 3dmark 2001 anyways, though it will be in 2003, main thing keeping me off 18000 marks u reckon is low FSB, im gonna have to vdd mod for 200/210MHz FSB and then i think i should see a more respectable score. 2.4ghz+ is an option on this CPU, but im not prepared to give it the 1.9V Vcore it wants to run stable.

Im gonna do that VDD Mod some day...honestly i am...one day...
