Is this stuff still any good? I remember back a few yrs. ago that this brand was very good and now I haven't heard much about it lately.
There is a local dealer that right now has some really great pricing on PC2700 and am wondering if it's woth a look.

Yah - it's still good. Unfortunately, Mushkin doesn't have the same marketing budget that Corsair has. Of course, you pay for that maketing when you buy Corsair too. :(

Good synopses. I second that. If my memory serves me it was the Cock 'o the Walk long before Crucial or Corsair was a household name. Kingston and Micron were the budget brands in those days. I remember paying $60 for 16mb of Micron ram back in '97 and wishing I had the money for Mushkin ram. LOL time flies. Now I just buy cheap generic ram and if it doesn't work perfect I send it back before it gets a chance to cool down. :)
