Hello,
I have a problem that is buggin' the **** out of me. I have this user, that while he is telnet into his server (or any server) that when he is idle on his telnet session for a period of between 5-8 minutes his telnet connection is lost.
What kills me, is that I am able to duplicate the problem from my location? My co-worker sitting right next to me, can not?
We are all using the same hardware - aside from the OS. I am using WinXP Pro, while my user and my co-worker are both using Win2k Pro.
So with that said, my buddy and I swapped equipment and tried to connect - once again he remained connected when I had dropped?
It seems to me to be an OS issue, but I can't be certain. I need to check the SP's on the users machine b/c I can not recall which SP he is running, but I know my co-worker is running SP4.
If anyone has any information on these symptoms, and can help me to a fix...I would greatly appreciate it.
Regards,
Mike
