never was much for clans, but what the hay, that'd be awesome, lets just not be one of those snobby ones that does really annoying things over mics and such and then boots those who get annoyed... i think a sysopt clan would be a great idea (especially for halo when it comes out). by the way: im up for any games you guys like

It would be a good idea if we could get some sort of Sysopt members clan's or clubs set up, kind of like the SETI team but across several areas.

The only thing is we probably couldnt use the sysopt name in title.

well, on cs for example: there are plenty of servers with no one int them, we can just hijack one, and it can be our meeting place

you can help us make www.clanimo.com better, we are a new clan still going through all the pot holes. Our strongest team is the BF1942 team. We also have a MOHAA team, and a Diablo II team.(Which need more players.) We are getting ready to start a RTCW team, UT team, and one of our members wants to start a Blizkgreige team. I myslef am wanting to make a Quake3 team, but i seem to be the only one on the clan that still plays quake3. Right now we have our MOHAA team and our BF1942 team registered at www.teamwarfare.com We just currently dropped worldogl becasue of how small of a league it was.

I'm looking into an international CS clan. A clan that has a lot of sub-clans from all over the world. If we can coordinate, maybe one of the sub-clans can get into the finals of the World Cyber Games next time.

So I agree that we should hijack a server and use it to meet at and get this party going. Let me make it clear that if anyone intends on using cheats, hacks or loves playing the haxor role in CS, then you can count me out. I don't play with cheaters, so if you're going to cheat tell me so I can find another clan to play with.

I have a 3/1 kill to death ratio and I can make 24-0 runs when I want to. Whether the clan is for just get togethers or to be taken seriously you can count me in either way.

I'm building a second kickass machine that I would happily install CS server mod on but I say for now we can use one of the million empty servers.

Let's get started!

if any of you actually think this team would have any chance what soever in competing in any tournament besides CAL - O then you're all wrong... the competition in the bigger CAL matches is insane and those guys have been teamed together for years just to make it that far

Depends on the game.

CS i think would be good with a 1ghz machine, and a fast cable connection.

But newer games need faster servers.

Our BF1942 server is dual Itanium 3.2ghz+, 1.5GB DDR RAM, 60gig drive, and a T3 connection.

Our soon to be UT server is a 3ghz AMD with a T3 connection.

we're just starting clans...if some want to compete that's fine as well. This forum isn't to state how well we would do in some tournament its to bring the sysopt users together for some good ole' gaming.

it's a little premature to rate on how well any one clan would do if they were to compete, that's a whole other forum post...

Considering its almost the end of the week, maybe we should set up a time for next Monday or Tuesday evening (I'm EST), but whatever is convenient. We can just stick to irc. I am sure that can work for everyone.

Maybe one of the mods can sticky the info for a couple days when we work it out.

You can find an empty one right on the HL CS mod server panel by filtering.

It would be so easy to do that instead of everyone having to join gamespy!
