I just bought a stick of 512MB PC133, which makes a total of 640MB ram. I remember reading somewhere a while ago that win9x has problems using more than 512Mb ram for whatever reason. I was wondering how do i find out if i am affected by this problem? What can i do (beside getting rid of ram) to fix the problem.

Also does anyone know some programs to test how stable your computer is (like doing a stress test or something)

Thanks

Here's what MS has to say about that:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q253/9/12.ASP

Just tweak your MaxFileCache and you should be fine.

Ok, but i just tried opening a ms-dos promt and didn't have any problems, does this mean i don't have to worry about changing the MaxFileCache?
