Splinter Cell arrived in the mail today ( $17 on eBay - and only 1 day shipping time via UPS). :) So far, the game rocks. I was hooked on the training session alone... and it looks great on my 9500Pro (all settings maxed). It takes a lot for a game to keep my interest and this one is doing a pretty good job. We'll see how long it lasts. :)

The thought of a multiplayer mode for Splinter Cell never even crossed my mind... the game's good enough without it. :) It could be interesting to do a co-operative mode... have several key objectives that need to be completed in separate areas or in a particular sequence. Never know...

It took me ages to complete, but then I was playing it on hard setting (as I always do).
It is a tribute to the game that (a) it looks so good and (b) I wanted to go back to it a lot to complete, even tho I was repeating stuff alot.
The next Splinter Cell game will include a mulitplayer mode.

I foudn that it was a trial and error game, onc eyou had eliminated the errors, you were left wqith a clear path straight through.. though there were a few occassions where things would go SNAFU and it would all get rather humerous :x
