Just wondering what became of TF2. I remember seeing screenshots of it, but that was a while ago. Looked prettty cool...if I remember right it was supposed to ship with little headsets so we could all talk to one another. Looked great..what happened?

I think they got most of the models done. I am assuming that polygon technology (less model poly at distance, more up close) might have been tasty for half-life 2 and they put it in there, or dumped it and just started working on half-life 2. I don't know what became of this rendering technology if its gonna end up in H2 - probably not. They were gonna make TF2 standalone, but maybe they will just make it a sellable mod for H2?? hmmm:eek: :eek: :eek:

...its slipped off of the face of the earth (much in the way i predict CS:CZ will)

There have been rumors of it re-surfacing using the HL2 engine, but im not too keen on being given incorrect release details for another 4 years
