bf cd-key scrached

i dont believe it
i had to bought a new bf long story why
still had my old cd key

anyway
i bought a new copy of bf1942
when i installed it, it asked me for the cd key
i looked at the bf manual and what did i see? two numbers where SCRACHED, u cudnt see them anymore, if someone had the game and scrached it
i tried without the two numbers and of cours it didnt work
man was i angry, ok i had my old cd key but my m8 needed one too (dont want to tell the reason :p )
i wrote eagames now, hope they can help
cant be bothered to go back to the shop and exchange it caus its far away

some games will not let two ppl to log on useing the same cd key # in lan games

yes i used my old cd key
but like i said
the new one was for my other m8 :)
well i phoned EA GAMES
they have a help hotline also with cd keys
i told them, then i had to give them details (my name, where i bought it etc)
then on every cd thre is like a CODE i had to give them that, then a CODE on the back of the cover

they did that to go sure i bought it

well then they gave me a new one

really cool, didnt thought they wud do that

I admire your countries where you can exchange your games for money if things didn't work out. I really admire that.

but here
i once bought a game, didnt like it, exchanged it and THAT game i didnt like to, and that game i exchanged for money so i got my money back!
they do it also with cds or dvds/vidios
