I know that streaming video with a 56K Modem (49+ Connect rate) is not going to be good like TV. One thing I was wondering is, when you download a file to your HD, then play it, it still isn't really good. It's not real bad, just that I always thought that streaming video wasn't really good because I had a modem dial up. But even if I download a file, then play it, it isn't a lot better. Why is it not better even when it's not streamed? Thank you, Chris.

it all depends on the quality the author created it at. i've really crappy video and then i see crystal clear video almost as good as a DVD.
there different levels. the worst the quality the smaller the download. the better the more to download

If you have an old video card or drivers, that could also lead to bad visual quality. Also check your codecs. Old ones can do funky things to new videos.

Thanks for answering, I don't want to say anything bad to somone who want's to help me out, but if it's my video card, all video should be bad. I can get very clear video with my cd rom, with the same video card. Thans for answering, Chris.
