Got two machines with xp pro on them,

Got a cross wired lead....... Do I just plug em in & voilla it'll work or do I have to think a bit?

Both machines work fine not connected I was just wondering what was gonna happen when I plugged em together?

make sure that the workgroup names are the same. you also need to have the same usernames and passwords on each system.
