I have a Linksys BEFW11s4 router on a dsl line with 1 wired pc 1 wireless pc and a PS2 everything works great except voice chat in MSN messenger and voice chat on SOCOM on PS2, they do work if i go direct to the modem. So what setting do i need to change in the router to get them working?

You need to find out which ports MSN uses for voice and then allow port forwarding in the Linksys setup to the application (MSMSGS.EXE or MSNMSGR.EXE).

Very helpful on MS's part there. They say you must "install Proxy server", but they don't say how. The rest ("create a Winsock protocol definition for TCP ports, and then install the Winsock proxy client on the computers that use the proxy server.") is gobbledegook to the average Windows user. It's Linux-speak. :p
Best to just switch to Yahoo IM or ICQ.

I posted it for the port numbers mentioned in the article although I have a funny feeling there are more than that - I may be wrong.
