Guys i have a BEFSR41 V.2 router. been having troubles staying on my cable conection. so I found the new version for the router but am not sure how to install it. since I have nothing on my computer for the router, just pluged in, I'm not sure where to download the newer verision 1.45.
Can someone help me here.??:confused:
Now I know how to get in the router with the http:// 192.168.1.1 , But once there I'm not sure how to direct the software , or even where it gose :confused:
If anyone understands please explain. thanks joe;)

Under the help tab choose upgrade firmware. then browse to where you downloaded the file and your there. Also the firmware file should be an executable and you should be able to just double click it.

OOPS I scred up. some how when I type ADMIN in it dosen't go into setup. I put it in the password box and leave the username empty, I get a red screen 404 error . yes I did by mistake reset everything to default. but can't figure out how to get back in. This happen before . and I can't remeber how I fixed it?? any ideals :confused:

Ok fixed that part, I'm in again. But when I get to update, I can't get the browers button to work. I click on it and it dose nothing, I lowerd Java to Low and still nothing, Whats keeping this from working ? Could it be my Nortons HUMM, Maybe i'll shut it down and try that, But if anyone has an ideal please let me know it. Joe:t
