I dont think many games will ever beat the NES classics like contra and operation wolf.

I like bf1942 a lot more than mohaa becuase of the multiplayer. I thought mohaa multiplayer sucked.

I like BF1942 a lot. Flying the Zero is fun. I'm still learning how to dive-bomb the enemy troops. :)

bf 1942 multiplayer really feels like team work is needed. Mohaa it is just a shoot' em up.

i like both games alot, but mohaa got my vote because i think battlefield is more glitchy and not as realistic because of some of the weapons. Also MOHAA is basically the first great WWII shooter, and that normandy mission was really fun.

Well so far BF1942 seems to be winning, but i guess we will see once the new Pacific theater expansion comes out for MOHAA and how breakthrough does.

However, CONTRA kicks ***. Inifitite ammo, endless armies of robots, huge bosses, insane explosions, non stop fighting, no cut scenes, no strategy, yah.

The first and best shooter game, that was the whole point, to see who could kill the most.

yep I gota Say BF1942 by a long shot, only reason Id have to say is becuase of the Versatility, your not just running round with a Gun, you can fly, drive, subs,ships, I mean you cant get bored with it, and I allso play the game in DC mode :) but love it to bits.

Yeah, DC is awesome, seeing how there are more than one type of flying machines and how there are more tanks and vehicles too. Got to love the versitility of the game.

DC went downhill after .35. the weapons are real weak now. Especially with the Apache. You use all your rockets to kill one vehicle, when in real life one of those rockets should be able to destroy a vehicle.

MOHAA for sure...

Ghost Recon is another one, tough...though...very tough.

But it seems as if bf 1942 really won here and by a good margin
My brother in law tried it and he LOVED it.

Ive done some of the Ghost Recon single player. Very fun, the one shot one kill is different then most FPS (but same as all the other clancy's). You only have a limited amount of guys, so I will never finish a mission with a fallen soldier.

The multiplayer is alright, but I feel the one shot one kill thing detracts from it. There are not many firefights, mostly who sees who first. Lots of slow pace hiding, and waiting to snipe.

i still think the original contra was by far the best one. 30 lives, and you could beat it in no time, now days with these games, 30 lives wont help you worth jack $h!7.
