The Best Current PC Games

Hey guys looking at buying a game to play need to have some fun. What's on the market that's good.

Here are some games I play and love starcraft: broodwar, quake, hitman2 silent assassin.

open to suggestions from all different game types but I think my favorite has to be a shoot em' up where u can blow people away:D

UT2K3 and Rainbow6: Raven Shield. The latter doesn't really have that much gore, but its a little more tactical than your run of the mill fragfest game.

I've been on a SWG binge since release. That's a rockin' game if you like MMORPGs.

I'm playing Start Trek: Elite Force 2 just now...graphics are quite inpressive and quite a good game. RTCW: Enemy Territory is ACE...and its FREE...if ur into Online shooters. Get Some!

cs is MAYBE the best ONLINE fps, which i personally dont think :)

For HL, the ending is a bit weird.

Tis like, Xen was the worst part of HL, and the developers actually admitted it, which was nice. However the rest of the game is a damned masterpiece

Best combat flight simulator hands down is Il-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles. Originally intended as an add on to the first Il-2, it was expanded as a standalone game that includes all of Il-2 and a lot more. Difficulty settings allow fun for all.

I'm gonna have to agree with all those.. and add CS, GTA Vice City and for the sheer joy of it.. F1 2002, cuz I love the F1 and since they dont seem to like "real" races here (those that include left AND right turns), I have to get my fill via video games

i'm currently playing Hard Truck: 18 Wheels of Steel, not a bad game at all, and apparently didn't see any glitch considering its a budget game. I used to like first-person shooters also. But these days i'm tending more into driving simulations.

if you want a realistic first person shooter....counterstrike is the way to go....if you want a far out, fast paced first person shooter, unreal tournament 2003 is the way to go...i have both and can't decide which i like better

Sorry, but i cant class CS as realistic, its far too arcadey to be classed as a realistic CT game.

If you want a realistic CT sim then the Rainbow Six series is what you want

so true jakk, i love cs, however, a .45 in real life would destroy you, instead it takes at least 6 hits to the chest to take someone out in cs, bunch of ****. now dod is way better as far as that kind of thing goes: you get shot and you be dead
