Internet Slowing Down

Hi
Is this Blaster virus slowing down my browsing or is my computer.
I have installed the patch and and ther is no virus on my machine
according to my up todate virus checker. AGV.

Yes it is slowing down some sections of some networks.

No it will only have hit small subnets and companies etc
If you analyze the internet traffic for the past 30 days you will see the worm itself has not put a massive constant strain on the internet as its directed as a DOS to microsofts update servers,
slammer was worse it nearly brought the net to its knees , watch out for a hibryd in the next month or so - those chinese programmers are sneaky but good....
