Fast LAN ping for gaming

Anybody know what a good ping value is for playing on a small home LAN? Play some Ghost Recon coop, and I wanted to see if I have it running as fast as it should...

The last and only time that I played on the lan the lag was pretty much zero. We all had decent machines but nothing special

pings should be between 10-40..

EDIT: playing across the UCF lan, I got those numbers..

Yup they should be low, ive nto done ay gaming on my network in a whiel now, but as i remember, mine were typically aroud 50ms at most

All depends on your setup and the amount of users. If you use a hub with about 4 or 5 people you shouldn't get any highter that 20-30.

If you use a switch you'll get almost zero ping:t
