Isn't it a bit late for this now? The games been out for months, right?

No, as its the beta test for the Multiplayer mode addon thats being released for Unreal 2 soon, Unreal 2, though it has been out for months, has no multiplayer mode, this is the beta test for the multiplayer addon/patch

How does beta testing work, do you pay to test them, or do they give you a copy to play with? What kind of money is involved with this?
