anyone heard of these vid cards? Are they good? They look scary

...never had one myself, but know of people who do, they don't have any problems with them...but they don't overclock them, they play it safe and keep things stock speeds

Hit and Miss.
Bought one off Ebay, new in the box...from a guy in NY.

He sent the original receipt with it...and sold it on Ebay for profit. Lasted about a month. Fried. Best buy promptly replaced it, no problems ever since.
Before I returned it, BFG Asylum returned an email to me, very promptly, and said to send it to them if there are any problems with best buy. Lifetime warranty..

It's the Ti4200 128MB DDR version. Pretty good card...over clocks just fine...
me thinks 250 core and 475 memory are stock, have mine at 275 core and 550 memory for about 3 months now, via riva tune..

Medal of Honor, Ghost Recon, Tiger Woods 2003, Quake 3..all play just fine!

So...take that as you may.

I have seen many of the assylum cards, never heard of any complaints about them, pretty decent card for the price, and if you use windowblinds to skin your windows xp themes, then you can get a Assylum Window blinds skin too, nice little added bonus if you ask me.

Like I said...I like mine. I think I just got a bad one. Happens to just about everyone with everything at one time or another.

Their tech support was great...while Best Buy was giving me the run around...
