My wife still runs WinME and cannot get her computer to wake up after the system shuts down the monitor. If she hit the keyboard everything comes up fine, but moving the mouse causes the monitor to turn on ( light goes from amber to green) but there is not video signal until she hits a button on the keyboard. Shes got the latest ATI drivers. The mouse is an IBM mo27fo and is using the windows defauld USB driver. Any ideas on what to look for would be appreciated.

Go into Control Panel and open the Display applet. Go to the Screen Saver tab and click on the Power button there. Set Standby to "Never".

Its already set to not go into standby. I just tried checking to to standby then unchecking it and that didn't help either.

Check up on the mouse drivers.
Register with the IBM support site and check for drivers and the product message boards.

Yes, is this a Logitech mouse? If you're using Logitech's Mouseware, try reverting to Microsoft's default mouse driver for Windows.
