what are fast writes exactly? i know with it on causes some instablitiy to some people. i currently have mine disabled, if i enable it will i get any better performance?

I have not noticed any stability issues with it on or off, what I have noticed is that I get LOWER performance with it on. I've expieremented with several different combinations of motherboards and video cards, and i've always gotten better performance with it off.

fast writes when enabled increases the FPS but sacrifices stability. In some cases when the memory could not send data fast enough to the GPU in a given time, lagging occurs therefore lower FPS.
