EPOX 8RDA+ rev1.2 vs ABIT NF7-S rev1.2.. WHICH ONE is BETTER? Pairing it up with either a 2500+ BARTON or 1800+ T-BRED, some PC3200 RAM..
Also, which one is better for SOUNDSTORM.. I know both use soundstorm, but i heard 8rda+ u need to buy some bracket to use it, with nf7-s you dont need bracket?
I want to get at least 500 MHZ OC or more if possible without modding the mobos or changing any volt.. PLZ TELL ME WHICH ONE I SHOULD GET.. THANKS..

148 posts and you still overuse CAPS? Come on! We can read.
If you want to use SPDIF, you should get the Abit. If you use analog sound, they are the same product. Both have Soundstorm.
Take your pick - you can't lose.
i jus wanan see which REV is better for OCing heh

The NF7-S v 1.2 is not a great overclocker, the 8rda+ 1.2 is....depending upon which stepping of the northbridge chipset you get.
The wise man who wants to be certain of the maximum possible overclocking gets hold of a v2.0 revision of either board as they are both fantastic overclockers and are pretty much equal to each other. My personal prefference owuld be for a v2.0 8rda+ over a v2.0 NF7-S but there probably really not a lot between em

How does the shuttle an35n ultra fare overclocking wise? I've read some reviews but not many sysopt members talk about it. ;)

The AN35N is much like an accountant; it's dependable and a little boring.
Explains why ive not heard of it then ;)
