I have an old power supply that I want to use. It has the old style, 2 cable, that plugs to the motherboard. Can anyone tell me if an adapter is available that converts it to the 20 pin connector that is used on the new motherboards?

What you have is an at power supply, and it will not work as an atx supply, even if there were such a thing as an adaptor.
An atx power supply has two supplies inside, one is a 5 volt supply that is on all of the time the computer is connected to a power outlet. An at supply does not have this, and can't be added.

What a geat forum.. Thanks Bovom. Guess I can't be so cheap, and will have to buy a new one. Now I won't spend time looking for a convertor plug..

didn't your case come with a power supply?
if it's an atx case (for you mobo), then I would think that it would have an atx psu.
but if your mobo fits in an at case, then it should have both types of power connectors

gfunkmartin, I had a case, that had a bad power supply. I was attempting to use the AT power supply from an old computer. Guess that is a no-go situation. Thanks for responding....
