No "guru" around here would get away with such statements as the guy "who knows everything about everything" (F1) in the thread bellow would.

Imagine how many **** posts (~11000) he's done and how many people in that forum live happilly in the land of ignorance because of him. So sad....

Sure makes me glad that Sysopt doesn't allow signitures though. This is the only web forum I visit and I didn't realize how much trash not having them saves you from digging through.

Looks more like the guys who look up info about SCSI knew more than he does. And he is a tech where he works, according to him. He's probably like a tech where I work, doesn't know much. Just what people tell him on the phone. We have Micron PCs where I work, the ITs will call em up when a fan goes out. They don't know how to replace them.

Also, I don't like the 'gossipy' type nature of this first post and thread.

Starting a thread talking other forums / BBSs and their members down is not what WE're about.

That doesn't make SysOpt great - our members helping others is what makes us great.

We have some of the best geeks in the world here who give freely of their time and knowledge to help and share info. That's why we're great!
