according to todays La Times (page A23) our current Gov., Gray
Davis, is going to be recalled. The poll says:
recall Davis 57%
dont recall Davis 34%
and according to other polls, Arnold Schwarzenegger is in the
lead to replace him:
Arnold 25%
any other candidate 10% or less !!!
=====================================
I think this is inevitably going 2 happen.
Remember, Ronald Reagan was an actor (20 mule team)
and that just because Arnolds acting roles (Terminator) werent intellectual doesnt mean he isnt smart as h377
================= :) ==========================
unfortunately, because Arnold is not native born, the constitution
prohibits him from becoming President after his term as
Governor of Cali.
================= :) ==========================
YOUR COMMMENT PLEASE !

Thank the Gods
And not a moment too soon.
I like the fact Arnold there is more interested in the people than any particular party, when he announced he was actually going to run, he pointed out that while he runs under the republican ticket, he's not entirely interested in being single sided.
We need more people like that, bipartisanism is almost worse than segregation, the arguments on this board and a lot of political forums prove that :rolleyes:
So he could neve run for the presidency.
Hmmmmmmmm...
Wouldn't the Senate or the House change the rules in the near future? :eek:

I lived in So Cal when Davis was elected the first time. I saw his first campaign ads on tv and they were bald faced lies! I didn't trust him anymore after that, but the bleeding heart California Suckers ate it up. They got what they deserved, and I moved out of state.
Arnold is a brilliant man whom I can believe in as a trustworthy individual even if he did marry into the Kennedys. I think he's strong enough and has the integrity to make his own decisions. I wish him luck and godspeed.

Yeah, but we didn't really have much of a choice, it came down to Bill Simon the Misfinancial criminal or Grey Davis the Money Laundering Momma's Boy.
We got screwed, now that we're (the people) trying to take control of the state again, Grey Davis, his team, and his supporters are trying to sling as much mud as possible to keep him in office, the financial impact of hte recall election os so small in comparison to the massive defecit that it really is lower-than-negligible
But the mudd will fly, in my opinion, the people have spoken, for someone to put a rock in the way of the recall election now is a gross violation of our rights to assert our needs and ideals on a government that was (aforemost) established for us.
So who knows how this will turn out. No matter what happens, people are going to whine, here and there.

If you had to choose between Grey Davis and Bill Simon, you would select randomly too *laughs*
I'm sure a lot of people closed their eyes and threw a dart to pick who was going to be governor :p
