Windows 2000 for itself doesn´t have an option for desktop themes, unless you´ve migrated from Windows98, ME and they had it installed.

You can download some desktop themes software in www.thethemedoctor.com, (http://www.thethemedoctor.com,) look under "medical kit" and you can find "desktop architect", "desktop themes", and "plus 98". I personally recommend Desktop Themes V.1.89, i´ts easier to use than Desktop Architect.

You can also download some very cool desktop themes in there.

i have windows 2000 and i just downloaded teh windows xp theme but i don't know where i am suuppose to put the theme into affect. where in windows 2000 does it have an option for desktop themes?
