Hi
I'm hoping someone can help. I've a newish machine with win2k pro. How do I set up outlook express so that all users (5 inc. administrator) look at the same email location and use the same message rules and folder structure?

You can't. Every user has the right to change their Outlook account and have it secure from prying eyes.

You can all use the same POP3 account but each user has to configure his or her own preferences unless you create a separate user account called "Mail" or something like that and give eveyone the password...........not exactly the most convenient arrangement.
If you are concerned with filtering spam you might take a look at Mailwasher (http://www.mailwasher.net/).

I'm assuming each of the 5 users is loging onto W2K with their own credentials (own user name/password)

If so...I believe you could share that mail store folder if you gave each user local administrator permissions on that PC.

I know you have to be logged onto W2K as an administrator in order to move/copy the Outlook Express folder to another location (Has to be done when users get new PCs.)

So, I'm assuming if all users logging on have local admin permissions, this one mail store folder could be shared out...

But, address books, I know for sure, have to be created/imported and maintained per user.

Just a thought to throw out there. Don't know if you want to/can give all the users admin permission.

I'm more an Outlook/Exchange server kinda guy...so, this isn't an issue...
