Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : OE to manage web-based email account ?
Hi everybody !
I currently use few web-based email accounts, #$^#you.co.uk for SysOpt http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif and another forums I'm in, Yahoo.com for friends, work-dedicated email and few more. I'd like to know how can I setup OE to work with these accounts. I'm aware or it's ability to work with Hotmail, but can I use other then Hotmail ? Or if there any other mail clients similar to OE, with the feature I demand ? And setup procedures, if you be so kind http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
MegaThanks ...

In yahoo go to options-pop access/forwarding. You have to check subscribe to yahoo delivers.
Then follow the directions to set up OE.
C&P
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Account Name/Login Name: your Yahoo! Mail name (your address without the "@yahoo.com")
Email address: your Yahoo! Mail address (i.e., user@yahoo.com)
Password: your Yahoo! Mail password
Sometimes I'm really feel shame for myself : instead of simply checking if my email provider supports POP3, I bother the nice ppl here http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
Well, Hotmail and Yahoo support, @$^%you.co.uk doesn't http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
As soon as I discovered it, I already had your reply, but thanks anyway !
Best Regards ...
