God's Rot, I need RAM Timings 'Idiot Guide'

I want to get this absolutely right the first itme I install it, so I was hoping someone could give me an Idiots guide to Ram Timings.

The new ram I have is rated "2/6-3-3 1T@PC3200"

I just need a quick 'idiot guide' so I know what ot look for in my A7N8X Bios, exact values if possible.

I'll hurt anyone who posts that **** THG article about Ram Timings thats about as informative as monkey **** sliding down a videocamera lens at the zoo.

Don't mind me, I'm irritated with there being no standard of description for these little ram-monikers, since Google proved unusually useless, its back here, truth is, I couldn't even find the articles in THIS forum that describe the different denotion marks.

Just need to know exactly how to set this up (manually) in my A7N8X Del. BIOS, since it seems to hate reading SPD correctly

I actually think I've gotten it straightened out some now, found an obscure little forum that had some useful info posted on it, so eh!

Why the heck do motherboards list CAS as 2T/2.5T/3T...that must confuse the **** out of newbs, who then wonder why "1T" (command rate, for instance) isn't in the list. Stupid BIOS nomenclature.

Almost all BIOS engineers have English as a second language if they have it at all. Compound that with the fact that engineers are out of touch with humanity as a rule and you have a problem. :(

Ive only ever scan read the THG article, but it didnt seem that difficult..although it does seem to go about things in a very long winded fashion...but then again thats par for the course with Tom
