Type of work : Web Design (Flash 5, Fireworks 4, Dreamweaver Ultradev, etc.)

Is Crucial a high quality manufacturer?

Add what you can afford,don't worry it won't slow your system down.

256mb should not slow your PC unless you are running Win98. If you decide to go for 128mb, get some PC150 or Cas 2 rated ram.

Add what you can afford. Another 256 meg won't hurt your system a bit, Windows 98 or otherwise.

You can add up to 512meg to any windows 9X without slowing down your machine. Get 2 sticks of 256meg and set the ram to very aggressive settings in the BIOS. Don't go above 512 or you will have to change some other settings in Windows 9X.
