If everything is working just fine than I wouldn't do it..:t Baddog 08-12-2003, 12:07 PM If it aint broke, don't fix it.:D sm8000 08-12-2003, 12:42 PM What kind of motherboard do you have? Bovon 08-12-2003, 03:24 PM There are very few reasons to flash your bios, on older motherboards, flashing the bios might allow faster cpu usage, and larger hard drives. Overclockers will sometimes flash their bios to get better control and more functions to work with while overclocking. If yours is doing what you need..leave it alone. If you decide to flash your bios, there are very specific ways to do this without heartache...be sure to ask how first, and do your homework..or..you may wind up with a very dead motherboard. Bigjakkstaffa 08-12-2003, 03:30 PM Unless it specifically fixes an issue you are suffering from...then dont bother --Jakk:t Aznmask 08-12-2003, 05:54 PM Originally posted by memot i never done a bios update to my motherboard ? should i do it?:t not necessary!! czu i dont want you start a new thread and said "my motherboard dead" stix_kua 08-12-2003, 06:15 PM Originally posted by Aznmask not necessary!! czu i dont want you start a new thread and said "my motherboard dead" This seems like a good reason to me...as well as the one about "If it ain't broke, don;t fix it..." It's just not one of those things normal people do for fun...:p SysOpt.com
