recently reinstalled windows xp pro on my system. put the latest driver on for the video card + directx9.0b and I score only 1286. used to score in the 1900's.

here are the specs:

amd barton core 2500+
nvidia ti4800 8xagp
1.0 gig mem.
60 gig hd
80 gig hd

everything is running stock.

now I'm guessing we're talking about 3dmark 2003? Try running 2001 SE, I used to have a similar comp except I had a 2100+ AMD and 512 ram, and I would benchmark at 10-11k on 3D Mark2001 SE, but with your setup you should get alot higher atleat 15k I'd say, any lower you might wanna check your BIOS setting and make sure your cpu isn't underclocked or the power going to the cpu is enough. You might wanna uncheck everything in MSCONFIG/Startup, it might help your score if you have alot running... other than that I dunno why your score could be low.

I updated the mobo driver and score 1738.. does that seem about right?

Check that Vsync, Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filterign have all been disabled in advanced display properties

Yea something seems a lil bit off as I get over 1400 in 3dmark03 with an XP 1800/ti4200 128 8x/512pc2100 :eek:

mobo drivers fixed the problem.
