Syberia Help

I am playing syberia and im stuck, i cant seem to get the locks unlocked in barrockstadt, I have the codes for the locks which are 42 and 41, but can anyone tell me how to open them, i have entered them into the console, but it didnt do anything, is there anything i have to do to activate it?

already finished the game, i was not cheating, you cant cheat in the game, i was using a guide that wasnt to detailed, but i figured it out. Awesome game, lots of cinematics with awesome quality too.
