both pc's are running windows xp
i had everything connected, green lights would come on for the pc's plugins but in the modem plug no lights would come on (on the router, they were on on the cable modem) so i could not access the internet on my original pc that could when it was hooked up alone to the internet
so what im asking is how do i make it work? do i run windows network connection wizard? or is there a different way.
and btw another question: i also run SuSE 8.2 on my comp will i still be able to access the internet through SuSE when the network is setup for windows.
im not worried about sharing files between the two pc's at this time, just getting them both online.
