CD-destroying fungus.... weirdness inside...

@ first, I thought it looked like microwave damage http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif - the top pic does look like a nuked CD, but the tracks shown in the bottom piccie look too 'natural' for it to be caused by electricity.

i have seen cds that look similar to that that werent microwaved or eaten by fungus, they were just old... or something i dont really know but it looks familiar

Had 1 disk out of a 7 from a set of CD's furnished by "WonderWare" that did exactly this. At the time did not know what it was, neither did the vendor. They replaced the defective disk with no problems. Hope this is not something that is going to become to common!!
