HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


so much to choose from , im at the upgrading stage now and am currnelty buying an epox motherboard, 2 x 512ddr ram, amd 2.6mhtz 533 bus processor and am stuck for graphics cards?


do i buy radeon pro 9700

nvidia sfx5600

or this beauty from hercules see link

also for frame rates and clarity what monitor would be best for say...... counterstrike or half life.....preferably 19"

Take either the 9700 Pro or the 9800 Pro. Try to get Built by ATI for either of the cards. They use better components, so if you are ever looking to over clock you'll be all set. I have a 9700 modded to faster than a 9700 Pro and they run HL and CS just fine. But with these cards if you are ever going to get a new game like Doom 3 or HL 2, they are ready. The nVidia card has a problem with the new HL. The ATI cards are allways faster (less money too), than their nVidia counter part.

an 'ol Sapphire is pretty much the same (and cheaper) as "Built by ATI" since BBA's are built from Sapphire's factories.
