Hello Everyone:
Does anyone know which is better: an Aureal Vortex SQ1500 4channel or an Aureal VortexII au8830 2channel (also known as Turtle Beach Montego II). It is a little weird because the SQ1500 has more features (512 midi voices versus 128 or 320, Dolby 5.1 support, digital out, and the extra 2 channels for 4 speakers) but the VortexII seems to be more expensive on Ebay. Is it because the Vortex II supports more of the new Microsoft "direct" formats?
If anyone knows anything about the differences please let me know. Also, which is better for DVD playback aside from the obvious Dolby support in SQ1500. Is there a DVD player included in either software package? If you have one these cards, I'd like to here from you.
