best $100 or so vid card?

Hello,
A while ago I asked a similar question, realize I had no funds, so decided to wait. By now I figure everything has changed so....what's the best video card in the $100 street price area? I want something that is either easily overclockable (I guess that means Leadtek?) Or something so fast to begin with that it's faster than the other one when the other one is overclocked.

The Geforce 4 TI 4200 is a very good performer and it costs $76:

Its probably the best card for under $100 dollars. And it beats the ATI Radeon 9000-9200 hands down ;) .

Hows the Leadtek NV34 Geforce FX5200 128mb that newegg has for $79?. Its got a 350mhz RamDac and 4ns seek (i think thats what it refers to).

If you want a card that can do Direct X 9.0, then should get the Geforce FX 5200. But frankly the Ti 4200 has the best performance for under $100. The Geforce FX 5200 is one of the value (and the slowest) versions of the Geforce FX (aka Geforce 5) series. The 5200 is slower than some Geforce 4's, but not all. In this case the Geforce 4 Ti 4200 is faster than the 5200.

As for o/c, most good brands should be fine. Brands like Asus, Gainwood, Chaintech, Visiontek, and MSI. There are others, but it mostly depends on the cooling the card comes with. If you want to get really high o/c numbers, you might have to purchase addtional cooling.

yeah but its more than $100 :(. none the less, a Ti 4200 should suit him fine.

Its worth spending the extra 7 bucks for a great card, I hear it over clocks 325/690:x
