Partition question

I have partition magic ver 8,

My disc 1 is partitioned in two, with my OS and programs on the C drive, I would like to make the C drive bigger, is there any danger of me screwing up my OS - WINXP home? are there any pitfalls for me to avoid? please advise.

I've done it many times myself without any problems at all. If at all possible you should back the hard disk up first, just in case - at the very least make sure any important files are stored somewhere safe.

Thanks fishybawb, done it, I needed the confidence, it is a bit of a slow process, gives you more time to worry if its OK, but eventually everything is fine.:D
