Goldwingnut 06-30-2001, 09:41 AM 1) Insert CD 2) ATE ( Agree To Everything ) 3) Use. MiKe85 06-30-2001, 09:56 AM Good advice Goldwing. When I installed win2k, I didn't have any problems... radbasa 06-30-2001, 10:26 AM I had no problems installing Win2k on a Athlon Classic 500 on a Freetech board. But a Celeron 300A on an i810E board needed updated drivers for the graphics. Funny that Win2k didn't have the proper drivers for an Intel board. Get the latest Win2k drivers of all your devices. NDC 06-30-2001, 08:00 PM Actually, installing Win2k is as easy as installing Win98. Getting to know the setting and features is what's very different from Win98... GroundZero3 06-30-2001, 08:21 PM some computers will not boot up to a cd so you will have to boot up to a win9x start up disk. go into the cd and create the 4 start up disk. its pretty simple that way to. just takes alittle bit more time Jason plucky duck 06-30-2001, 08:31 PM I've installed it over 2 dozen times (really I have!!), after awhile there's nothing to it. Done it many times with Pro, Server, 98, Advanced Server. Its really easy if you've got all the proper hardware and that there's no conflicts. Plucky AndreRIO 06-30-2001, 09:49 PM win2k is easy, but will xp be the same? SysOpt.com
