I've read that you can take a car amp and some how hook it up to a computer's sound card and really rock! Does anyone know exactly how to do this?
Thanks in advance!

Hahahaha yeah that's my Athlon 750 with 2 car amps on it laugh if you want all you pessimists. All you out there who laugh at my computer will never know how good it sounds. I have just gotten a hold of an extra AT PSU and it's almost ready to rock. Any about where to find the amps or about how I did it, Email me.

No offense taken. The reason I have put up posts was to consult others before I make a stupid mistake, so I don't think I've made any mistakes yet. I've been having FDC problems and bad HD sectors before I even touched my case but now the problems have been getting worse and my MB is under warranty so I sent it back. Thanks to all for alerting me of potential problems of using a second transformer or running it off of the PSU. Thanks for all your interest. This is not over yet... Questions? Email me or just post.

Yeha it will work fine. A car stereo is a just a sound system designed to work on teh car's power supply (12V), and it's compact and such. But if you run the outputs from your comptuer, to the amp, plug everything in properly, and make sure that you have the proper supply to the amp it'l work just fine. If you want to test it work the proper supply use a car batter charger set to 12V to power the amp. That's waht I do. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
