I purchased an ASUS A7V266-C mainboard and the limits for the CPU is 1.4Gig+ Am I correct to assume that provided the bus speed is 266Mhz I can go higher than 1.4Gig? rangeral 07-27-2003, 10:22 PM Should be able to put in an athlon xp cpu in there plus check asus for a bios upgrade that could let you put in a faster cpu than originally set.
