I was recently given a Panasonic CF-V21P laptop. It runs fine but when it boots up it gives some error and says please run setup program or press F1 to continue. I looked over panasonic's site but couldn't find anything on it? It seems to have a bios similar to an IBM PS/2 systems as I can't access it and I remember seeing some PS/2 systems ask for a setup program. Any leads or suggestions.
Thanks,
DC.

It runs fine, but gives an error at post?
We assume by that the m/c works? Y/N?
If it boots properly? Then runs, there maybe a BIOS hiccup to be resolved. Have you taken the setup option, to find whats nagging?
Try setup, explore the options, let the m/c find it's itch, Save and Exit. Reboot.
More info would be handy here. Chrs R.

Well that's just it there is no way to enter the bios. At least not that I have found. It just asked to run a setup program which I do not have or have yet to be able to find. Panasonic's website had no information on the laptop. I am pretty sure it is an IBM bios circa 92-94. But other than that I'm not sure of much. The error message as I stated looks similar to error messages generated by PS/2s with improperly set up MCA configurations in the bios. Just a guess on that though.
