Is it worth $130 more to get the

No. Save a lot of money and get a 2.4C. You can easily hit 3.2GHz on almost any 2.4C with the stock cooler and a steady mind.

If you must however go Intel then the 2.8 (or the 2.4 as CV suggests) is what you want, for a mere 200Mhz jump the price increase is ridiculous
