hi, i need a bit of help with this **** card, for some reason or another it just keeps crashing at random points when playing a game of some sort, for example, playing a nice game of couterstrike, and then the whole computer just freezes, and i can hear the sound effects going over and over, sort of an stuttering effect, i tried getting drivers from nvidia, that didn't help much, as it just didn't let my screen turn on. Can someone help me out.
Thanks

Hi.
1.You checked your temperature? That might be the case, your CPU might be getting too high a tempurature and causing the computer to freeze.
2.Checked for virii recently? Long shot, but could be the case. Same with Adware, even if it isn't the problem, it might speed up your PC a little, helping point no.1.
3.You re-installed Half-Life/Counter-strike? If the above points don't work, you should try this.
4. Are your sound-card drivers up to date? If not, install them.

Completely uninstall and update your sound drivers. This is the most common cause.

Thanks for the help
I checked the temperature of the comptuer whilst running counterstrike, and it stayed a constant 40 degress which seems pretty normal to me. Scanned for viruses, nothing came up, i normally do a weekly thing with scanning as it is. I've reinstalled Half life on numerous occasions for other reason such as configuration probs and its never changed.
I tried uninstalling sound drivers and reinstalling them, so far so good, it hasn't crashed... yet ;)
Hopefully it will stay this way.
Thanks again
