Ok......sooo.....I started to record Staind - It's Been Awhile using my tv tuner off of VH1 about 10min ago. At the same time I dl-ing Nike - Freestyle commercial from Adcritic.com, it's alllllllllllllmost done, like a sliver left to go.

I hit record.

BOOM!

Screen goes black, I hear sound, no picture.

I press escape.

BOOM!

COMPUTER RESTARTS ON ME!

The real kicker is that it did THE EXACT SAME ACTION LAST NIGHT! The ONLY difference was that I was just starting to record Lifehouse instead! But it was the same Nike video!!

Is there some higher force trying to stop me from seeing this Nike commercial?!?!?!?!?!

I JUST BARELY STOPPED THE FUEL VIDEO AFTER IT FINISHED. ANOTHER FUEL VIDEO WAS COMING ON THAT I REALLY WANTED. I PRESS RECORD AGAIN AND BOOM!!!!!! PLAYER QUITS ON ME!!

NOW I AM PISSED. YES I BANGED THE KEYBOARD NUMEROUS TIMES AND YES I'M SHOUTING.

I HAVE A SOLUTION!!!

Man, I gave up on windows in december and went only to linux. I have 3 machines, turned em all over to linux. It's AMAZING!!! Best thing I never did. Now I have windows 98SE installed on a partition with ONLY games installed.. that's all it's used for. But nowadays you can get just about everything working for linux, printers, scanners, TV in, mp3 players, cameras, etc... It just takes a little work. But I have my printer, nomad II, writer working so far. And I'm working on my USB camera and scanner.

It's fast, crashes like maybe once a month.. and even then it's usually just a program that messing up, ot DOESN'T bring down the whole OS. Just close the program and reopen it.

I sugest finally ditch M$ winblows.

how in the world doyou install drivers on linux? i gave up on linux cuz i didn't know how to install a software and how to install drivers for my modem and stuff. any suggestions or websites for me?
