Which 333fsb board. There are many. The chipset is what really matters. If its a Nforce2 chipset then multi-s UP to 12.5x are already unlocked for this chip. If you want 13x and above then wire trick is needed or you have to blow certain bridges.:t

msi kt4v .......

I have heard about the wire trick and even seen an illustration, but cant remember where. which is less likely to create problems. The blowin of the bridge or wrapping of the wire?

People have found flaws with that page Terminator posted, so don't take it as a definant. They have updated to a bit, but as to if it is now flawless, I don't know. Do you want to risk it... someone here unlocked the upper multiples with the l3 bridges, they may know how to unlock the lower ones as well - though with the nforce2, that would be rare info compared to unlocking the upper multiples which is also hard to stumble across.

You can try it... if it fails though... well it may just be you have to remove the wire and the cpu will work fine, though it could also kill the chip.
